Thomas's real estate experience spans over 22 years, leading investment sales and commercial strategy across the residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use sectors, having delivered more than AED 12 billion in property sales across the UAE, GCC, Australia, and the UK.
As Director of Investment Sales at Devmark, Thomas Murdoch leads the firm's investment sales division across the UAE and wider GCC. He connects investors, developers, landowners and family offices with credible opportunities, leveraging trusted relationships and market access to originate off-market deal flow, structure transactions and deliver disciplined commercial outcomes across Devmark's investment platform.
Thomas specialises in investment strategy, commercial structuring and portfolio optimisation, bringing more than 22 years of leadership experience across the UAE, GCC, Australia and the UK. His career reflects a consistent focus on institutional execution, governance-led decision making and the disciplined translation of investment intent into commercial performance.
Experience spans the commercialisation and optimisation of multi-billion-dirham real estate assets across the residential, commercial, hospitality and mixed-use sectors. Over the course of his career, Thomas has delivered more than AED 12 billion in property sales and generated in excess of AED 700 million in net lease value, demonstrating a sustained ability to align stakeholder interests and unlock value across complex investment environments.
Prior to joining Devmark, Thomas served as General Manager of Real Estate, at Al Habtoor Group, progressing through Commercial Director, Deputy General Manager and Executive Director roles and representing and serving the Real Estate division on various executive boards in recognition of his strategic and commercial contribution to the Group. During his tenure, he led the commercialisation of projects exceeding AED 10 billion in value, driving operational transformation, occupancy growth and revenue generation across a diversified portfolio.
This combination of executive leadership, transactional depth and board-level governance experience shapes how Devmark's investment sales platform engages investors, structures off-market deal flow and converts market intelligence into executable investment outcomes, reinforcing the firm's position as a credible, institutionally aligned counterparty within the region's investment landscape.
